The Mingo Creek Spring Road Race Series presented by Trek of Pittsburgh will take place over the next three weekends. Humanaut should make an appearance, though, illness and bitchin cold might prevent some racing. Regardless, here are the details for anyone who is interested in racing:

Yesterday Sam Kessler participated in the USCF Cat 4/5 race held in downtown Pittsburgh. The race was very well managed and everything seemed to run smoothly, and with the exception of some potholes around the second corner, the course was pretty much perfect.

The team plans on racing in the USCF Criterium race on March 23rd. The race will be held in downtown Pittsburgh. For more information check out: http://www.steelcityshowdown.com/

The criterium will be a one-of-a-kind race through the downtown area of Pittsburgh. Riders will learn why Pittsburgh is often called “The City of Bridges,” as they will be racing a a backdrop of the waterfront and downtown skyline.

Thanks to everyone who supported the team by buying a Humanaut t-shirt! We raised roughly $700! That’s $100 more than our initial goal. All the funds will go towards helping us pay for team resources.
